What are some good Digital SLR Cameras?

I’m looking to buy a digital slr camera, but not exactly sure which one would be best for me. I’m always taking pictures at family events, vacations, etc. and I also like taking photos of nature and beautiful scenery. I know someone that has a Nikon and has had no trouble from it but what other brands are also reliable and not too pricey? What type of digital slr camera is right for me?

Nikon and Canon are the best name in DSLR. In SLR cameras, the main role is by Lens. Both Nikon and Canon are good in that. It is too difficult to suggest you any best model unless I have your complete requirement. The range of the camera starts from USD 450 and goes upto $4000 plus. It really depends upon your requirement. As I said, Lens plays major role in it, so you have to look for right quality lens.

Everyone loves professional looking pictures, but unfortunately, not every can afford nor take some time to beat a professional-standard camera. I have always been a fan of good photography and have been in search for the ideal semi-professional digicam. After a week of analysis and 2 suggestions, I discovered the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP digital SLR camera. The price is pretty reasonable for a SLR camera and it has a range of features to help take the ideal shot.

Aspiring professional photographers and professional photographers will find solace in this model as it enables the capture of beautiful pictures without the trouble of tweaking the never-ending array of custom settings.

Like most SLR cameras, the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP digital SLR camera has pretty awkward but shockingly light. The light weight and comfortable grip makes it easy to hold for prolonged periods.

It also incorporates a spacious 3-inch LCD display for the preview of photographs taken. It has 230′000 pixels, producing top of the range playback images. The battery life on this model is also pretty impressive. I was ready to take close to 3k shots on a single charge.

As I have mentioned earlier, this digital camera takes great photographs without the need to make lots of customization. Thanks to the DIGIG III processor and auto light optimization, the images taken on auto/standard mode are clear and crisp. I went through the manual and there seems to be lots of other features that I have not begun to try experimenting with. It also includes about half a dozen Windows/Mac software for photograph revising and several other functions. This far, I had an excellent experience with the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP digital SLR camera. If you are trying to find a reasonable and straightforward to use ‘professional’ camera, this would be the perfect model for you.
