What camera works best with Final Cut Express?
im sure this is already asked, but I would have a hard drive camera or a hd but do not want to lose my money because I can not work with Mac. I know sony isn't better because my sony mini dv worked. if anyone can help thank you because I am looking frustrated
I used Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC miniDV tape based camcorders with my Mac – iMovie and FinalCut – no problems, works very well. Only need to use a firewire cable – USB does not work (and they do not with Windows computers to transfer DV / HDV quality video, so there is no difference). If flash memory using the standard definition camcorders (like the Canon FS series) or standard-definition camcorders hard drive disk (such as Sony DCR-SR series), you need to convert the files – works well http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/mpegstreamclip.html Streamclip If you are using cameras high definition video flash memory (like the Canon HF series Sony HDR-CX) or video cameras high definition hard disk drive (like the Sony HDR-XR or a series Canon HG), you need to use an Intel chip based Mac with the current version of FinalCut that can deal with AVCHD / MTS files. HDD and flash memory camcorders to copy files via USB, and then convert, then drag the converted file in the log and capture of the area. MiniDV tape cameras directly import video in the log and capture video editor area.

Learning Online Photo Make your camera work wonders for you
Experiment with a variety of levels of exposure. As the cameras film that we are all so used to digital cameras the best of their best work in full sun. When taking photos indoors or even in a soft light, obtaining best pictures are more difficult. I recommend you take some time and experiment with different exposure levels.
One thing you can do is try to shoot your subject from different angles, using a variety of lighting. If your camera allows it, try turning your flash off. If the camera allows what is called "flash fill, "I recommend you try that too. You will find that occasionally a perfectly exposed picture is even better using the fill flash. Also, occasionally turn off the flash and leave the subject a little underexposed can add drama to the shot.
One thing you should do regularly, if you're looking for for the perfect shot is to have the same image in three different ways, with three quite different exposure settings, you are guaranteed to get three images radically different – and they all look good. But you should experience.
Try to bracket your shots, a shot a bit underexposed, overexposed a bit, and a "Right ". Some digital cameras will do this automatically, but even then you need to practice. If you are waiting for the camera to shoot one frame and three-pointers reaches the camera is placed in brackets.

By example, if you move the camera to track a moving car at high speed, the car will be in sharp focus but the background will be blurred, making an interesting picture. Or you can do the opposite: focus on a stationary object in particular – a child flying a kite, a water freshly painted – and allow a car full speed to enter the picture. You 'll then have a very precise center of attention with the added advantage of movement.
Silhouettes are also a very special effect. Try taking a photo with the subject in the shade, eclipsing a bright object in the background exposed. The opposite – a theme brilliantly exposed against a dark background – can be as interesting. Trying to get a good figure in the film is expensive: it injects a lot of pictures with little or no reward.
