Digital Slave

Slave flash for digital cameras?
I wonder if there is no digital cameras, SRL. I hate the yellow and uneven flash of my camera is. My model of camera is a Canon SD 1400 digital camera. Anyone can recommend me some slave flash units that work well for digital cameras? Thanks!
One option you have is to start with some really cheap optical slaves. They fire when they see another flash go (as a board.) They are very cheap, so you could buy a few and play with them myself. years ago has now use to light my background or sometimes I use it as a hair / rim light. Digital Photography – How Convenient!
Raise your hand if you are still using a film camera. Come, now, do not be ashamed. OK, finally, hands beyond that group of photography enthusiasts. You know the ones; film recalcitrant to create artistic photos in your own basement darkroom. Are scarce these days, but I can appreciate his passion. I developed my first impression when I was thirteen. Later in life taught me photography in a program with a picture on the site laboratory. He was always very exciting to see the image begin to appear in the developing tray.
But who more is beyond the scope of darkroom at home? How many people still use film? I know my mother still does. She uses the camera my daughter's old movie and I like the simplicity of it. It is a basic point and shoot camera, she appears in a film canister, press the button, the movie has to store and presto, an hour later, has 24 copies. She did not have to fool with the settings of fantasy, never worries about accidental erasure beautiful images of a family event last week and not even think about using a computer to manage your photos.
The old way is so simple, but does not fit in the paradigm of high-tech world of today. It seems that almost anyone to play in these days, he imagines himself as a professional photographer. And of course we all like the convenience factor of digital photography. For a change of pace, I recently loaded the film in one of my old cameras. The first time you press the shutter, I immediately looked at the back of the camera. I was surprised how much we have grown accustomed to the convenience of an instant replay.
The film is simply uncomfortable. People are no longer satisfied with the movie idea of inherent risk. For those that have been digitally engaged for several years, suggestion that they pay for processing before seeing any of his pictures seems absurd. Imagine paying up to ten dollars just to find that up to half of its twenty-four photos are, well, not very good (or worse).
"Today the photographers are also reluctant to relinquish control of their images anyone else, not to mention the machine working child photo at the back of your local supermarket. To become a full member of the digital set is almost a fact that the expert photographer needs to adjust each image using photo editing software.
Yes, digital photographers have a great control about their images. I'm up to my eyes at that. Like most people these days, I shot way too many pictures that need to be shot, either on holiday, at a meeting family or when I am visually creative. As a result, spend much more time than it should, through the images to make the decision, often painful for delete photos that do not meet the grade.
But do not stop there. Photos must eventually move out of the cards and the computer. The usual. Wait the stack of memory cards get so high, that looks like a miniature coffee table. When no more memory is available and you refuse to buy more, it's time to start the numbing process of moving its card images to your hard drive in a way that is somewhat organized. For me, it is often complicated by the fact that some cards contain pictures that I took two years or more.
I rarely stop there. Then spend more time cutting and setting of them. When the process is completed, the time has passed while the photos can be confused with a collection of historical images. The whole process is cumbersome and lengthy and often overwhelming.
To make matters worse, unless we want to banish the images of the insides of our computers to eternity, which usually spend more time and effort just so that others can see our beautiful photos. Unless you have a free prints available-for life as a result of blackmail its photo-processing type, you have to decide on a representative sample of the huge collection of his recent photo event. If you prefer to slide show or better yet – a slide show with music – involving even more time in front of a computer screen.
Fast forward to yesterday. I was visiting my parents, when my mother asked, "Steve, when will I get at least some of the images he shot during the holidays summer of recent years? Do not worry. I do not even think to ask for pictures of the birthday celebrations of the weekend. "
My answer, unfortunately and as usual, was that I had not yet gotten around to 'go through' my memory cards.
His answer floored me. She said she was Tired of waiting for me to get everything to her, and she delivered a series of photos. She took the liberty of printing a second set of the movie you just have processed. She said: "Here. You can have these. These are the photos of the anniversary party this past weekend."
My first thought? Wow, she appears on a roll of film, press the button, takes the film to the store and, presto, an hour later, has 24 copies. Now, it is convenient.
Go figure!
