How much can I expect to pay an electrician to install deck light kit to stairs?

Depending on where you live…$30-65 an hour is a fair guesstimate. They’re not difficult, maybe you and a friend can do it yourselves.

EDIT: Dayum! I need to quit my job and start installing decklights. Moonlight decks down there is making a killing! I bought my deck light kit, transformer, wires, lights, etc. etc. etc. for right at a hundred dollars. Only put up 13 lights around the deck and at his price…it would have cost me $455. Shoooo! Although they are nifty looking deck lights.
