Is the Pentax K2000 a good camera to buy?

I already have a digital camera a Canon Powershot A590 but it lacks the ability to change lenses. I’m looking to upgrade to a DSLR camera and i ran across this camera Pentax K2000. Is this a good camera to buy or is there something better i can buy?

Buy the newer K-x, it’s a replacement for the K2000. The K-x is 650 with kit lens and comes in either white, red, blue, or black. It also has HD video recording, live view, 4.7 FPS, 11 AF points, and up to 12,800 ISO, which is a HUGE improvement over the K2000 and is WELL WORTH the extra pricing over the K2000. I would never get the K2000 with this differential in pricing, I would save up the extra money and get the K-x over it instead. The new K-x has iso levels exceeding the Nikon D300s and D90 which are flagships in APS-C noise levels, with 650 USD you can get better iso noise levels. This camera is a no-brainer and must-have for anybody who knows the technological side of DSLR’s and wants to get into the entry-level league. Recover the lost images captured by Pentax camera

Everybody has some memories brought from the past life. All these memories are carried out through out the life. Photos make possible to keep our near and dear ones stay close to us always. Digital cameras have now captured the market; Pentax camera is one of the best known cameras to capture photographs of high quality. The photographs captured by this are not compressible images. The photos lost, deleted or which are missing can be brought back by pef recovery. It is applicable with both Windows and Macintosh. Consider a situation “Memory Card Corrupted” error appearing on the screen of the camera.

Causes of corruption of the pef filles

• Pulling out the memory card while read write process is going on.
• Camera is discharged though photos are being taken.
• Memory card is full still photographs are being taken.
• While transferring the photos from camera to the computer memory card is pulled out.
• Camera switched off when writing process is continuing.

Solution

If this error message is appearing on the screen of the camera then memory card of the camera is definitely corrupted. In order to stop further damage you are required to stop the camera immediately. Afterwards you need to format the memory card. Since you have formatted the memory card therefore no photo files will be available. To recover all the photo files from the Pentax camera pef recovery software is required to be used. Download and install it in your system, launch it, locate the drive and restore the photo files which have been deleted, corrupted or which are missing by clicking on the ‘Recover All’ button. Generally write process is prohibited in the photo recovery software therefore it does not affect the quality of the photo files and safe recovery is ensured.

Pef recovery software has capabilty of:

• Generating preview of the files which can be recovered
• Supporting the file formats such as JPEG, CRW, RAF, DCR, NEF, CR2, ORF, MRW, ARW.
• Supporting memory cards such as SD card, XD card, MMS etc.
