I will add do ToolManJobber’s answer that if you want to shoot instant film, you will need to buy Fujifilm Instant film and one of their cameras.
They are still in production so you can buy a new camera and film is still being made

Cool Sunglasses and Polaroid Cameras?
It is a little-known fact that there is a connection between Polaroid cameras and common every-day sunglasses. Keep reading for details on that connection, as well as some other interesting facts.
Sunglasses were only introduced into the United States in the early twentieth century, just around 1930. This totally new, unusual type of eye wear was sold on the boardwalks of Atlantic City, New Jersey and promised to protect the wearer’s eyes from the harmful sun.
However, in a time where people were not concerned about the harmful effects of smoking, alcohol or sun damage to their skin, they were probably not concerned about the damaging effects of the sun on their eyes either. Though, within the next 10 years polarization of the lenses was developed, as well.
Back to the connection of Polaroid cameras and sunglasses – the inventor of the famed Polaroid camera integrated his Polaroid filter into the makeup of the sunglasses’ lenses giving us what we call today: Polarized lenses.
This technology developed so many years ago, is still being used today. At the time it was the greatest step of its time toward the protection of our eyes from the sun.
Now since that time of the 1930’s, sunglasses have steadily become a favorite accessory for everyone. We like to use cool sunglasses as a way to show off our style.

A collection of photographs from Polaroid auctioned by Sotheby’s this week raised nearly 12.5 million dollars, or more than one million more than anticipated, the auction house said Wednesday.
