How do you crop on the Canon PowerShot 10MP Digital Camera?
I have the Canon PowerShot 10MP Digital Camera and I was wondering if you can crop pictures on it, and how? Like can I resize my pictures by like zooming in and then saving that? Please help, thanks!
You can ONLY crop your images in post-processing, not in-camera. Or, if you try getting your composition right in the first place, you won’t have the need to crop.

Canon SX10 Powershot: Outstanding Features For The Price
If you are currently looking to buy a new digital camera then you really need to take a very close look at what the Canon SX10 Powershot has to offer. The camera incorporates the very latest technology to provide a wide range of features that would outshine a far more expensive model.
But don’t think this means that the camera is overly complicated to use, far from it. You will take to this camera just as easily whatever you experience, whether you are a novice photographer or an old hand.
The many features of the Canon SX10 Powershot make it possible for any photographer to produce stunning photographs time after time, even in the most demanding of conditions. An image taken with the camera can be enlarged to 13 inches by 19 inches without any noticeable loss in picture quality, this is thanks to a 10 megapixel resolution, which provides great editing and printing capabilities.

The camera’s 2.5 inch LCD viewing screen with a variable angle tilt and swivel and a glare-resistant coating, which allows for viewing in any lighting conditions and at a variety of different angles. This is a real advantage when trying to take a movie or a photograph in a crowd as you can hold the camera high in the air above the heads of the people around you, and then swivel the screen downwards so you can see the action.
This feature of the Canon SX10 Powershot is also great when you are attempting to take a photograph or movies close to the ground, such as of small children or pets, as you can angle the screen upwards so you can get down low without having to resort to kneeling down on the floor. A real boon when you get to my age!
The camera features a DIGIC 4 image processor, which offers high-performance face detection and motion detection. The camera’s face detection facility also includes a useful self-timer, which recognises when your additional face is included in the shot and then takes the photo. There is an intelligent contrast correction feature to help take better photographs, and also a red-eye reduction feature.
The Canon SX10 Powershot also has a dedicated mode specifically for the taking of movies, which makes the taking of perfect movies very easy indeed. It uses standard SD or SDHC photo memory cards on which to store the images, and these memory cards can be slotted straight into many computers and printers enabling the easy transfer or printing of your photos.
A really great thing about the Canon SX10 Powershot is that it is equally suitable for the novice or the advanced photographer. It can be operated in automatic mode which will help to take fantastic images without having to alter loads of different settings. However if you wish you can choose to make use of some of the camera’s advanced features which can easily be accessed through the comprehensive menu system.
So if you are in the market for a quality digital camera that allows both a novice or an experienced photographer to take excellent photographs the Canon SX10 Powershot digital camera is the one for you.
