What is the difference between 430 Speedlite flash EXII and Vivitar Series 1 RGPRO-648 Digital?
I have to buy a flash for my Canon Rebel T1. What is the best? Thanks
I see no advantage at all to the Vivitar, sells for the same price or higher than the 430EX. You flash with Canon E-TTL full now more options in the manual power settings, the greater zoom, high-speed sync, plus proven reliability of Canon USA products. In addition, Aftermarket most flashes have a pattern of AF assist and generic cover only the central point or group of points. The current units Canon are designed to work with all AF points. In the end, unless Strobist professional, there will be a big difference between the two. I personally get the 430 EXII

Choosing a digital voice recorder is right for you
If you have done so much for buying a digital voice recorder, you'll find a wide variety of options. Some are under $ 50 and some can be as high as $ 500 – $ 600.
Part of the reason is extra features, sensitivity microphone, and the storage size. Surprisingly, some of the registrars of the lower (less than $ 150) can record as well as high-end recorders. The only thing missing is material characteristics – and if you do not need all the bells and whistles to be very good.
Olympus makes a series called "WS-series." These are considered "consumer-grade digital voice recording, but receive very good reviews in consumer electronics sites. If you are not using as a journalist or medical professional, they often work well.
There are several versions of Olympus voice recorders WS-Series: the WS-311M, WS-321M and Olympus WS-320M.
The main differences between these digital voice recorders is only the amount of recording time. Otherwise the functionality is the same. They all have voice activation features, export in WMA format, and all connect to your Mac or PC via USB port.
Most users to convert these WMA (Windows Media Audio), MP3 files when moving them to your computer. This is easily done with a program like Apple's iTunes, which will ask loading if you want to convert them to MP3. What do all the time with my WS-311M when I move my ideas about songwriting to my laptop.
All WS-Series recorders Olympus digital voice are powered by a single AAA battery. This might seem as if the recording time may be limited. This is not the case. You can get 20 + Hours of recording time from a single AAA battery.
The number of WS-voice recorders are also very small. All of them are about four inches long, two inches wide, or even half inch thick. You can easily slip into a shirt pocket, back pocket or small purse or messenger back without taking up much space at all.
If you want to switch to more expensive models, the Olympus DS series is a good choice. Olympus DS-4000 is used by professionals in the medical and legal. However, Olympus has just released the DS-2, which offers many of the same features at a much lower price.
You want a digital voice recorder that does not require software installation to move files to your PC or Mac DS-series and series Olympus WS-by simply recognizing the device as a mass storage device. So when you connect to your computer simply looks like an extra hard drive. You can open on your computer and just drag files to your desktop and manipulate there. Sony and other manufacturers tend to need to install your software, which can cause problems if you are not near your computer and you want to move or upload files.
You can find many of these devices for sale on eBay and at various electronics stores and used in almost new condition used for a fraction of the price you can find in big box stores. Go to shop around. You will be amazed at the deals you can find.
