Anyone else have the same/know how to fix the playback problem with the Sony HDR HC9?

ok, I have a Sony HDR HC9 which even when recording on a tripod or flat surface, when you go to play the footage back it occasionally freezes and drops frames randomly even through a constant recording without moving the camera. I have recently bought brand new better quality tapes, but still the same problem occurs. Does anyone know how to fix this problem at all, for i cannot send it back to be repaired or replaced anymore.

If you are talking about on your camera UMMMM that’s not so easy, you could try cleaning the heads, you can get problems if you start to mix different makes of tape, the lube they use clogs up the heads if you mix different types. try putting your camera on a tripod or non moving surface and record over a tape just with the Lens cover on, then try again to record something for twenty minutes.
