Swivel Light
Which is the right belt for this vacuum?
The vacuum is a Dirt Devil Vision Swivel Glide (Upright;Bagless) Model: 086935K. I went to the website and used the drop down lists and I selected 086935 because there was no K option. It said the replacement belt for this vacuum is the Style 4/5 belt. The description is this:
“Genuine Dirt Devil Style 4/5 Belt fits all Featherlite Uprights that use paper bags, all Swivel Glide Uprights that use paper bags, and all DIRT DEVIL VISION UPRIGHTS.”
but, on the bottom on the vacuum it says Style 4 and there is another belt that is just called Style 4 and the description is this:
“Genuine Dirt Devil Style 4 Belt fits the following Dirt Devil Upright models: Featherlite, Featherlite Plus, Featherglide, Scorpion, Scorpion Upright Deluxe, Breeze, Breeze Bagless, Vibe Bagless, Extra Light, Jaguar, Swift, VISION SWIVEL GLIDE, Vision Wide Glide, Vision Turbo, Classic, Reaction and Action.”
so I don’t know which is the right one for the 086935K or are they both compatible?
Most vac belts are just a larger version of the small rubber bands we use to hold papers and other things together. In many applications it’s not unusual to find two belts that will work for one vacuum. This is one of those times. And the belts are not real easy to put on, they frequently require quite an effort to get on the spindle. If that proves to be too hard, then put the belt on the spindle first and with the belt around the brushroll, pull it forward and drop it into the slot where it goes.

Fire lights that help to douse fires
Just as police need special lights on their vehicles as well as on their person, firefighters also need lights on their vehicles and on their person. These fire lights make use of both halogen and LED technology both for small and large lights, and strobe lights are also used in many instances. As in the case of other emergency vehicle lights, LED is becoming more popular for use in fire lights as well since these have a much longer life. With LED, the user is never under threat of the light failing suddenly when he is working. LED lights may gradually dim after a long time of use but they do not conk out suddenly.
