LG Neon camera zoom help?

I just got the LG neon and I can’t get the zoom to work. The +/- buttons on the side zooom while ur doing video but they don’t seem to work in camera mode. I have scoured the instruction booklet and the online guide but they have nothing. Thx in advance

i had that problem to with my old phone. pick a new resolution on the picture mode. it should be in the options or something and change the resolution til it works
